With over 15,000 customers to be billed, Northampton needed a system that would meet their unique needs.  They found VUB provided 95% of everything they needed.  Diversified Technology's programming staff provided the other 5%.

Quality Assurance Enterprises (QAE)

Quality Assurance Enterprises (QAE) provides outsourced utility billing services to clients in north central Indiana .  

Using Diversified Technology’s Internet-based software, QAE has access to every feature in Visual Utility Billing including bar coding and local printing of bills, automated payment posting, customer online account access, customer online bill pay, and disaster recovery protection.  “I didn’t realize this type of service was available,” owner Bill Zartman said.  “We pay as we go.”

 Set up was a breeze.  Zartman said he passed his customer data to Diversified Technology in the form of an Excel spreadsheet and “I worked with Tom (Tobin) and Harry (Finkbiner) to set it up.  That saved a lot of time and manpower.  Instead of me taking a week or two to build the database, Harry did it in a day!”

 He found the software easy to learn.  “They showed us how to do it once, and we took it from there,” Zartman said.  Diversified Technology’s just-in-time training allowed him to “be walked through steps that we needed, right as we needed them.”
