Visual Utility Billing's (VUB™) robust features are the result of more than 20 years of evolution. We have listened carefully and responded to the utility billing needs of scores of customers municipalities, municipal authorities and utilities just like you.
You will also notice that VUB™'s features are grouped into logical categories. Functions that you use most frequently are prominently placed on a graphical tool bar for ease of use.
In the Customer Service area, you will find quick and easy access to each customer's account information, including any balances due, information on which services are provided to the customer and the rate for each service, a complete transaction history for the customer, an alert if there is an outstanding lien, and access to any customer-specific notes you or others have made.
In the Billing area, you will have the opportunity to set up each billing, use actual or estimated meter readings, make adjustments to any bill, generate a billing register, print bills and post the billing.
The Payment area gives you tools to process a single, over-the-counter payment, a batch of payments from a collection agent, bank or a bulk of payments and bar-coded stubs returned in the mail.
In the Debt Collection area, the system can generate a variety of tools to speed debt collection, such as late notices and reminders, legal/certified letters, and even door hangers. Liens are tracked and calculated too.
With e-Bill, you can save time and money by emailing bills to your customers.
In the Open Interface area, you will find the tools to communicate with your meter reading system or service by uploading route information and then downloading consumption data. You will also find the tools to upload financial data to your accounting software.
In the Reports area, you will find more than 100 pre-formatted reports dealing with virtually every aspect of utility financial management and operations.
